Title: Why an OFF switch and not an ON switch?

Hi, whats the philosophy behind an OFF switch instead of an ON switch? 
And why are the LEDs still moving when it's in OFF?
Or have I ruined my 5176? :)

A label mistake!

What matters is the green LED:
When light is on, the compressor is working,
when light is off, the compressor is bypassed.

The bypass is a relay that connects input directly to output but the compressor still receive the signal and the meter keeps moving.

So your compressor looks perfectly OK.

So your compressor looks perfectly OK.

Oh phew! Because I thought I was going crazy the other day. I think you should fix the information in the users manual on your website too. If you can. On that page it says the LED is showing the bypass status and the button will put the compressor in bypass.

But I was SURE that I could hear the compression effect when the LED was glowing :)
