Hello, JPK, and thank you for your help with this matter.

As I said, the CP5176 is in a Radial Workhorse "The Cube", with a MP573 & EQ573. "The Cube" has in its rear side two "feed" selectors (for passing the signal through the modules without using a cable) and two "link" selectors (for use the modules in stereo mode).

I have disconnected the input to the CP5176 and it still make "clicks". I have notice that, if I "don't feed" the modules and I use cables for each module, the "click" only appears when I bypass the compressor. It is lower, but it still appears...

Any thoughts, JPK? ???

CP5176 FET compressor / 1176: Click when bypass

Hello,

I own this compressor about a year. From a few days to now, it has started to make a “click” noise when I pulse the “Off” button, for bypass the compressor. The compressor is in a Radial “The Cube” Workhorse, with a MP573 and a EQ573.

What could be wrong? It doesn’t happen before. Could it damage something on interface, headphones or the compressor itself?

Best!

MP573 Microphone preamplifier / Re: Problem with external DI and MP573

Today I did a quick test...

It points to the compressor... Probably its IN:

a) Bass > DI > Interface: OK
b) Bass > DI > MP573: OK
c) Bass > DI > EQ573: OK
d) Bass > DI > CP5176: the signal is too weak for the compressor.
e) Bass > DI > Lunchbox (MP573+EQ573+CP5176 in "feed" mode): OK

MP573 Microphone preamplifier / Problem with external DI and MP573

Hello,

I own a SoundSkulptor MP573, EQ573 & CP5176, mounted in a Radial Engineering Workhorse “The Cube”. I own some studio staff at home, plugged into a patchbay.

Today, I was doing some tests and I have noticed that I had no signal when I tried to use this chain:

Radial JDI (Passive DI Box) > MP573 > EQ573 > CP5176 > Interface

It works when I used another DI on the previous chain or, simply, the MP573 > EQ573 > CP5176 > Interface.

The DI worked well when I tried it alone (Bass > JDI > Interface)

Could someone image what could be wrong?

Best,
Bartok
