MP566 Tube microphone preamplifier / Shut down tube while not in use

Hi everyone,
since that's my first post I hope, no one has ever raised that question
I have a MP566 and like it pretty much. However on many occasion I use my 500 rack but won't touch the 566. I assume the tube is powered up the whole time, right? Is there a way to turn off the tube like it is on guitar amps?
