Those values are correct

Thank you. I'm not sure where to measure. Could you tell the resistor numbers?

It is especially in the high impedance setting. I'm concious that it has an emphasis on the higher frequencies, but it seems very big, especially compared to the MP573.
The noise is gone though

Thanks for the reply!
I checked all the solder joints, but the problem remains the same.
I would exclude an external issue, since I tried different cables and slots in the 500 Box

MP512 Microphone preamplifier / Noisy signal without low-end

Hey,

I build a MP512 one year ago and it worked fine. I didn't use it much, and when I used it now I realized, that there's something wrong.
It has a realtively high noise level nad pretty much no low-end. The signal sounds filtered.
Anyone an idea how that could have happened?

Thanks, Malte

MP573 Microphone preamplifier / Re: Input gain problem

Thanks for the reply.

Here's the voltages I checked:

A: 0V
B: 0,63V
C: 22V
D: 21,92V
E: 3,2V
F: 21,25V

As I see it only C is correct.

MP573 Microphone preamplifier / Input gain problem
« on: March 08, 2021, 07:27:33 PM »
Hey,

I just finished building the MP573 and all the testing went well.
When I came to the part of pluging the mix there is one problem:

I only get signal when the gain knob is on 10 or 20 dB. For all the other settings there's nothing.
Alls the other switches work though.
I checked all the solder joints of the rotary switch and reworked some, but still have the same problem.

Any idea what it could be?

Thanks, Malte
