Hi, I just bought an akg c411pp to mic a tongue drum. The gain on my rme is not enough to record a clean signal with enough level. While looking for a dedicated preamp I've found this interesting MP599 and then I'd like to know if it will work with a condenser microphone ? For any reason I don't understand I've seen some preamps not suitable for condenser microphone...
Thank you in advance !

Sure, it will work.
Preamps not working with condenser mic probably do not supply the 48V phantom power.
