Hello everybody,

some time ago I purchased an LA502 (2017 model) and now - because it sounds so great - I purchased another one (2021 model) over eBay. Both units seem to react equally with regards to the Peak setting but the new one has a significantly higher output level (Gain). As I haven't set the units up myself I'm curious to find out if and how I can trim the output level so that it's equal in both units. In the setup guide PDF I only saw the section "GR meter setup" but that doesn't seem to refer to the ouput level.

Cheers,
Stefan

It is normal, the configuration of the gain stage has changed between these 2 versions.
I am sure it is possible to convert a REV1.3 into REV1.4 but it will require quite some tracks cutting and re-wiring.
