I went through all of the setup guide and everything checks out for the most part my question is in step 6 when you raise the output pot and it’s supposed to go to 9V or more… is there a too much on the more side? Mine rose to above 20v is this ok? The only other thing that seems off to me is that my meter runs a little hot. I can only adjust it down to roughly 6.5-7 db of gain reduction.

Now that I have passed audio through it there is a ringing when initially switched from bypass to in sounds kind of like
Feedback. Any thoughts on any of these things?  Thanks in advanced for your help!

The maximum output voltage, corresponding to a full clipping signal, almost square, is about 12VAC.

Can you do the voltage checks shown in the first post of this thread?

The same thing happens with both MU524's I just finished. The signal level measures about 20,3 volts when measured as described in the last part of setup guide step 6.
I am using a Fluke 179 which is true RMS, if that makes a difference here.
The voltages are within specs, no ringing or meter issues here.

Actually this is fine. The 12VAC value mentionned in a previous post was for one single phase of the output. When measuring accross the two phases, you can reach 20V. Sorry for the confusion.
