Hello, 
When assembling the mic pre I accidentally soldered the part J1a in backwards and damaged it when I got it out, where would i be able to get that part at?

Thank you for the part #, I just installed the new part and when I power it up the clip light stays red. No controls do anything. Before I installed the new J1a part everything appeared to work, the only thing that didn't work was the output potentiometer. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

could it be that you damaged the pcb when removing J1a?
Check that, for each pin of J1a, the top and bottom pads are still connected.

I got everything working, I was able to solder the pins on both sides to the PCB and get the pre amp working, Thanks!
