True bypass?
I guess Im doing something wrong.
My CP4500 works very well, when engaged (IN), but when not engaged,, thers is No sound bypass.
Why?

Do you mean no sound at all when off?
Or the compression continues when off?
On both channels?

Sorry,,
Bypass.. sound goes thru When IN is out....
As Is I have to engage the unit, IN pressad down, to not Silence the signal.

Sorry, still not understanding.
What you should have if the unit is working properly:
IN button released: The signal goes through unaffected,
IN button depressed: The signal goes through compressed.

But the issue, It Does Not let sound thru with IN released
