True-Grit is a tube saturation processor that allows for very soft and progressive saturation up to full overdrive. A Low-cut filter before the tube and a High-cut filter after the tube allow you to define the saturating frequency range and adjust the amount of harmonics. Finally, a Blend control sets the mix between dry and wet sounds.
Install it in your API* compatible LunchboxTM or rack and start working.
1: DRIVE Sets the level of the input signal thus controlling the saturation level.
2: BOOST Adds another 20dB boost to the input signal going into strong overdrive land.
3: LEVEL Sets the output level after saturation.
4: HI-CUT IN Inserts the High-cut filter.
5: HI-CUT Sets the frequency of the High-cut filter.
6: LO-CUT IN Inserts the Low-cut filter.
7: LO-CUT Sets the frequency of the Low-cut filter.
8: IN Module bypassed when up, module active when down.
9: BLEND Sets the mix between clean and saturated sound.
Absolutely everything!
You bring the solder (use good quality solder, 1mm diameter max) and the Lunchbox.
The True-Grit kit is a medium difficulty kit. It can be undertaken by anyone who is able to make a clean solder joint.
